Hump back, kyphosis, chicken neck, turtle neck or whatever you want to call it, poor posture is a serious epidemic in the United States . These conditions all start with Forward Head Posture and a loss of the normal neck curve. The Mayo Clinic said, "Forward Head Posture leads to long term muscle strain, disc herniations, arthritis and pinched nerves". (Mayo Clinic Health Letter, Vol. 18, #3, March of 2000)

Sit up straight with good posture then take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Now slump down in your chair and force your neck out forward as far as you can. Now in this posture, try the same deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Wishing you all the best of health,
